"Bobby Cribbin went the distance for King and only one of Brunswick’s four runs were earned. The fiery right-hander led not just in the field but emotionally as well for the Vikings. “He is an emotional kid and when his emotions are directed in a good way he is tough to beat,” Lewis said. “He’s as hard-nosed and as tough a kid as they come.”...full article here.

“We have a lot of faith in him,” Stamford coach Tim Daly said. “I trust Bobby; I trust all my pitchers. They’re all very good pitchers. They compete, but Bobby’s got a little bit more experience, so that’s the type of effort you expect out of him.”...full article here.

"My catcher Connor Bamford called a great game. He kept the St. Luke's hitters off balance," said Cribbin, who fanned two and walked one. "I'm a pitch to contact type of pitcher and my defense made all the plays. I had pitched three innings of relief in the regular season against St. Luke's. That experience allowed me to work around their hitters' strengths. I was thrilled for the opportunity to pitch in a playoff game."...full article here.
